By downloading, installing, or using Deducr (the "App" or "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content.
Deducr is a receipt-tracking application that uses artificial intelligence to help users identify and track sales tax on purchases. The Service includes OCR-based receipt scanning, AI-powered data extraction, tax summaries, and export features. Deducr is designed for personal and business informational purposes only.
Deducr does not provide tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice. All deductibility estimates, tax summaries, and spending insights are generated algorithmically for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional advice. You should consult a qualified tax professional before making any financial or tax-related decisions. Deducr expressly disclaims all liability for any actions taken or not taken based on information provided by the Service.
You must create an account to use certain features of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify Deducr of any unauthorized use of your account. Deducr reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Deducr offers free and paid subscription tiers ("Pro" and "Business"). Paid subscriptions are billed through the applicable platform store or web billing provider, depending on the platform used to subscribe. All payments are subject to the terms of the respective payment processor. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled pursuant to the policies of the applicable store or payment processor. Deducr does not directly process payment card data.
You retain ownership of all receipt images and data you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant Deducr a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not sell your receipt data to third parties.
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service; (c) transmit any malware, viruses, or destructive code; (d) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service; (e) use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service; or (f) upload content that infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party.
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Deducr and its licensors. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of Deducr.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy carefully.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. DEDUCR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DEDUCR AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
Deducr reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
